While I was working over at mcgarrybowen as their Director of Technology I got a chance to work on a very interesting and challenging project that involved creating a large gesture based multi-touch projection wall for Chevron to show the good they are doing in the smart energy space. This wall was displayed at the Wall Street Journal’s ECO:nomics conference at the Bacara in Santa Barbara to guests such as Al Gore, William Clay Ford, and European Union President Václav Klaus.
We were able to repurpose many of interactive pieces/widgets that we had made for the WillYouJoinUs.com web site, as well as a wealth of other video, photography, data, and interactive assets that Chevron had on hand.
Using flash and coding a flexible container architecture for all of the materials we were able to accommodate any asset that got thrown our way.
