One of the last(if not the last) project I worked on while I was still in house at mcgarrybowen was a Google Maps mashup for the launch of the Verizon Drioid, called “Drop a Droid”. The premise: put an address into an ad banner and get a real time view of Google Maps triangulating this location and literally dropping a Droid phone on this location, all while simultaneously watching the epic Droid launch commercial (overlaid with the address you entered) in an adjacent video window.
When all is said and done you can send the whole piece to your friend, mom, enemy, boss, etc.
I pulled this off using the Google Maps and Google Street View APIs and a lot of elbow grease.
